I don’t mean to be a weeaboo by saying this, but I think fashion in Japan is superior to fashion in the U.S. America basically has high fashion, boring normal clothing (Hollister type stuff), and hipster fashion. I have nothing against hipsters OR mainstream people, but the fashions aren’t stunning or eye-catching, and I never see anyone dress inventively outside of the main styles that are “in”. Japan’s street fashion culture is so much more exciting and diverse to me
